Pille Hunt designs

It all started long before I officially began working as a designer. Back in high school, when a sketchbook was my everyday companion, I drew the first version of my logo — by hand, with a pencil, the way it was done back then. Those old sketches never disappeared. Only recently, when I felt it was time to give my visual identity new life, did I take those papers out again. I scanned them in and turned them into vector files. Something that could be used both online and in print.

The logo versions came about through trial and error. I tried out several variants, looking at them on bags, business cards, and screens. Some stayed, some didn't. I chose the colors by instinct — something that would be warm and vibrant, but also neutral and calm.

Choosing the font was an adventure of its own. I browsed through dozens of options. One felt too angular, another too playful. When I finally made my choice, I had already created the website visuals, only to realize — the heading font was too hard to read. So I changed it in the middle of a finished project. And that flexibility, the constant testing and refining, is part of my design process.

My overall style? Simple, clean, a little minimalistic. Not just in appearance, but in approach too. Every brand has its own face and character. My role is to find it and make it visible. Today my brand is exactly what it needs to be — honest, thoughtful, and truly me. And like anything in life, it may still change over time.
